Our story

Hey there, I’m Chase Nystrom, the owner of Northwoods. I’ve been working with steel in the trades for quite some time, figuring out how to make things sturdy and reliable.

I eventually took a leap and started this business to do what I love most. Building steel structures is like playing in a sandbox for me; I get to dream up designs, solve problems, and create something that stands strong, and I’ve gotten really good at it along the way. There’s nothing better than seeing a project come together, whether it’s a sleek workshop or a big storage barn, knowing it’s built to last through whatever comes its way.
